Need a background music keyboard player for a party or event?
I will play for up to two hours for whatever fee (within reason) you feel is a bargain (we can discuss beforehand). I will then donate the full amount that you pay me to a reputable world hunger or disaster relief charity - some of my preferred ones are World Vision, Food for the Hungry, and Cross International.
If you are satisfied with my playing, I will make the donation (via the internet) immediately after your event. If you aren't satisfied with my playing (although I think that you will be satisfied), I will quietly and politely leave without being compensated.
I have years of experience playing at private parties and other events (compensated) and at senior citizen facilities and church-related functions (mostly as a volunteer). I have a repertoire of jazz standards (swing, latin, bebop, etc.) and popular songs spanning several eras and styles, playing them as instrumentals (I prefer not to sing) in such a way that they don't sound like 'elevator music.' I can tailor what I play to what you'd like to hear, and can play requests if they are given to me before the event and are songs that lend themselves well to instrumental arrangements.
My keyboard is a Yamaha PSR-S710 that has many accompaniment styles and voicings. It simulates the sound of a full combo, and I play it through two 50 watt amplifiers to create balanced output of good quality.
